An absolute favorite of travelers and locals alike, Ajax Tavern attracts casual souls hoping for a relaxing meal. With an eye toward sustainability, we couldn’t keep this amazing restaurant off our Top 10 Aspen restaurants if we fried. The most spectacular place to get a mouth-watering apres ski meal, Jimmy’s will keep you satisfied. For the environmentalist in all of us, rest assured that the good folks at Jimmy’s compost 90% of their food waste. Good for your tummy, good for the planet! Serving daily 5:30 - 11 PM.

You wouldn’t want to come all the way to Aspen and not taste the best ribs in Colorado, would you? The Hickory House has got the process of making the juiciest ribs possible down pat. But it isn’t just the ribs, it’s the coleslaw, mashed potatoes, cornbread, apple sauce, baked beans, and every other amazing picnic side dish you can imagine. Strap on that bib and stuff your face.
