10. Cooper Avenue Mall

To begin our Top Ten Aspen shopping, we have an adorable area nestled right into the heart of snowy Aspen—the Cooper Avenue Mall. Located along the main downtown road (Cooper Avenue, you guessed it), this welcoming pedestrian mall brings alive the spirit of the city. Take a break from skiing and meander through the shops to your heart’s content. But you probably shouldn’t shop till you drop, unless you are going to stay on the bunny hill tomorrow… Hours of operation vary by shop.

9. Aspen Emporium & Flying Circus

Are you on vacation with the kiddos and searching for a way to get some peace and quiet? Bring them to the Aspen Emporium and Flying Circus, and they will be silent with amazement (well, it's worth a shot). This quirky little adventure shop boasts some of the locals’ heartfelt, handmade creations. Ranging from intriguing art to fun little toys, this Top 10 Aspen shop is sure to entertain children of all ages. Open daily 10 AM – 6 PM. 

8. Radio Boardshop

Are you snow board of the skiers getting all the attention? Well it wouldn’t be Top 10 Aspen shopping without a place to get some sick adventure gear! Rumored to be the best snowboard shop in all of Colorado (and there are a lot of them), this place has stellar customer service, sells the top brands, and has the knowledge to back it up. Don’t spend your time in beautiful Aspen on a dumpy rental board—ride the slopes in style. Open daily 10 AM – 6 PM.

7. Suzy’s Limited

A super cool thing about Aspen is that it isn’t only for the outdoor adventurers; it also is the home to some amazing luxury Top 10 Aspen shopping. But let’s be honest, if you are already staying and playing in Aspen, your wallet probably hates you. Have no fear! Suzy’s lets you shop designer brands for a fraction of the price! Come steal that dress someone tossed out after only a year; have your cake and eat it too. Open Mon – Sat 10 AM – 6 PM and Sun 12 PM – 5 PM. 

6. Saturday Market

If you’re digging the mountain air and don’t even want to leave it to shop, head to Aspen’s Saturday Market. From mid-June to mid-October, this sweet little market sells delicious fresh produce, beautiful fresh flowers, and knick-knacks of every shape and size! Experience the soul of Top 10 Aspen shopping through the fabulous locals and get some great eats while you’re at it. Lettuce turnip the beet of your trip, travelers. Open 8 AM – 3 PM.

5. Explore Booksellers

Have you read the book about anti-gravity? We’ve heard it’s impossible to put down. Maybe you’ll find a copy in this amazingly charming local Top 10 Aspen shop—Explore Booksellers. From the classics to the new releases, you can spend hours losing yourself in the pages of their wonderful selection. 4. Ute Mountaineer

We couldn’t keep this incredible mountain gear shop off our Top 10 Aspen shopping! The one-stop-shop in Aspen for all your adventuring needs, Ute Mountaineer carries products for biking, hiking, jumping, skipping, you name it! Anything outside you can imagine, Ute Mountaineer has the gear to support it. Let’s be honest, did you actually remember that special pair of biking socks? We didn’t think so, go grab another pair at Ute Mountaineer. Open daily 9 AM – 9 PM.

3. Galena Street

If you’re hoping to step into style while in the snowy city, head to Galena Street ASAP. This adorable area is packed full of designer shops, cutesy boutiques, and charming little mountain cafés. If you venture around the neighborhood, you might even stumble across names like Prada, Gucci, or Ralph Lauren. Meander around downtown and buy that matching hat and mitten set—after all, you’re in the mountains! Hours of operation vary by shop. 

2. Kemo Sabe

What do you call a crazy cowboy fired from his ranch job? Deranged. The ultimate western wear store of Colorado, Kemo Sabe in downtown Aspen takes being a cowboy to a whole new level (of swag). From boots to hats to lassos, you can find anything in any color that your western heart desires in this wonderful little Top 10 Aspen shop. PCDG is a family run, Aspen original clothing store that has been operating in the snowy city for decades. From classic styles to contemporary design, you will not want to miss this chance to up your hipster game and snag some style.
